1 Corinthians 11:4
4Every man who has something on his head while praying or prophesying disgraces his head.
A man should take up his authority and not neglect it, for it is from the Lord. God created man first to be a place of authority. It is our stewardship and responsibility to do so. A man must take on the responsibility of leading in the church in the domain God has given him, especially in the home. We are called to act like men and to stand.
- Paul is plainly saying that a man who wears something on his head disgraces his head. Is this man’s own head or is it Christ, who is the man’s head, that he is disgracing? Also is this cultural and symbolic or should this be practiced, today.
