1 Peter 3:1
1In the same way, you wives,
"In the same way", is referring to Peter’s previous description of slaves who were being treated unjustly. He is commanding them to be in obedience to the Lord, regardless of whether or not they are being treated justly by those they are to be in subjection to. The commands of God are not based on others obedience to them.
